Handle lock Tie Bolt Drive – Brown

This lock is a normal handle lock with a Tie bolt drive. That simply means it uses a square shaft to operate the lock. The benefit of this lock is that is only requires 4 screws to install the lock to the door once the holes have been drilled. There are  2 screws for the latch and 2 screws for the lock body. This lock also has an adjustable latch. The standard length for most locks is 60mm, but sometimes doors have locks with 70mm latches, known as 70mm backset. This lock is adjustable and can do both 60 and 70 mm backset, with out having to chance and parts, Simply slide the latch to the next position for 70mm.
