A cylinder is installed through the door used to lock and unlock the lock. From the inside, you can rotate the handle lock, and lock, and unlock the lock. One of the impressive features of the Lockwood 303 is the extra-long screws used to install the keeper on the frame, with the large screws it is designed to give maximum strength and protection.
