This padlock is used in the Sydney area for meter readers and telephone exchange access on unit blocks or privet houses in the Sydney West area. Please check with your local provider before ordering.

The “E Key ” system is an older system that is still in use today. When you buy the lock you will be supplied 2 keys. You can order more keys from Dr Lock at a later stage or when you purchase the lock The keys supplied with the padlock will work the padlock only.

We do not sell the master key “E-key” or the “Tel-key”

The padlock is a marine-grade padlock for longer-lasting outdoor and indoor use. The meter readers have the master key and can open this lock. Telstra and other communications service people also have the master key “Tel-Key” and can access this key.
