Filing Cabinet Lock

If you wish to change the lock on your filing cabinet to a different key or simply to replace a broken or missing lock then this would be the cheapest way. This lock is a common body size and installing the lock is easy. To remove the old lock you will need to remove the clip on the back of the lock and remove the lock, to install the new lock you just push the lock into the hole and the spring clip will lock it into place !!

Extra Help if its not working ********* Try this 

1.       Remove all the draws

2.       Look at the back of the lock

3.       The tail of the lock should be in the circle or lift the slide up to lock .

4.       When the slide is lifted all the draws lock and when its down they are all open.

5.       You might need to bend the metal that connect to the back of the lock, sometimes it slips off

6.       Once the slide and lock are working put all the draws back in,

7.       All The draws must be shut 100%  or they will not lock
