This screw is used to hold the lock cylinder in place. For most locks it is important that the head of the screw is not too big or it will make the lock fail. This screw is the right size and length for standard Lockwood cylinders and also has the small screw head to make it compatible for Lockwood locks like the Lockwood 001.
