The Lockwood 670 cam lock is different from other cam locks on the market. because of the unique feature of this Lockwood cam lock is that it uses a pin tumbler mechanism for the locking. The same style that is used in most standard Lockwood deadlocks and house locks. Most other cam locks of this nature use wafer disks which use smaller springs and operate completely differently to pin tumbler locks. Pin tumbler locks allow the lock to be set up to multiple keys, such as master keying. This Lockwood cam lock is a stronger option compared to other can locks on the market and what’s more it uses a standard Lockwood key. You can have this lock set to the same key as your standard house locks and you can also have this key set to other certain keys such as the NMB key. This can lock is suitable for desks, cupboards, toolboxes, notice boards, competitions and all different types of applications which you can install a cam lock on.

Please note. You will need to select the locking cam on the back of the lock the cam is the part or the league on the back of the lock. This part is not included with the lock so you will need to select from the drop-down menu which can you would like. You can see in the photos images of the available cams with the letters A to M  – See images to pick cam 

Extra key option. The lock comes standard with two keys if you require additional keys you can select on the side how many extras you would like if you would like three in total you would select add one more key plus the to come with the lock standard and that will give you a total of three.

Key like option. This option is available if you buy multiple locks of our website and you would like to have all your locks matched to the same key, this means that if you buy a deadlock and you buy this cam lock and you want both to be operating on the same key, you can select keyed alike from the drop-down menu and we will match your other locks that you have purchased through us to work with the same key. If you would like to purchase more than one of these types of locks and would like to be different keys you can select all with different keys. If you would like to purchase more than one of this type of lock and would like them all to be the same key , select keyed alike and we will match these locks to the same key 2 keys will be supplied in total. We also have included the option to have this lock set to the NMB key, this means that the lock will operate on in MBT and you will be supplied to keys which will also work the lock these are not NMB keys, but the NMB key will operate the lock as well.
