This lock is used for roller doors or roller shutters.. If you old roller door has stopped working or has been damaged, you can buy this replacement lock and install it in the same place. This lock has the traditional design with one new feature, the key it works with is a standard house key “not the small keys.” This means you can have your roller door working on the same key as the rest of your house “Keyed alike”. 

The Key Alike option is when you buy more then 1 lock and you would like them all to work on the same key meaning One key will open all your locks.
