This toilet lock is suited for wooden sliding doors; this lock is made of this from the solid construction and is made by Astra who make some of the more heavy duty toilet locks which are commonly seen in commercial applications.

This toilet lock is commonly found on sliding disabled toilets doors instead of hinged doors to allow easy access.

The lock also has an indicator on the outside to show vacant or engaged. From the outside there is an emergency turn to unlock the lock in case an accident should happen and access is needed into the toilet area.

This lock is a mortice lock which will require it to be fitted to the edge of a door and then from the outside around indicator would be fitted and the inside the terms which would be fitted. Once the lock is installed and the switch is turned lock locking bolt will slide out into the door jam  and expand to lock the door, when the switch is turned to unlock, the bolt will then slide back into the lock and the door then can be opened by sliding the door.
